Sorry to hijack your thread,(sounds good I must go in there one day)
It’s funny that we all pay to use all the country’s roads yet I’ve never heard of anyone suing transit NZ claiming the road wasn’t safe enough?

I have already given it to you.... learn to read and stop injecting words that I never used and stating things that I never did.

Every response that you got was in response to something you started. You don't get to perpetuate myth and insult without response in my book.

You don't to complain about me doing that and then further insult me without being a hypocrite.

    Learn to read....

In so far as useful is concerned, nothing you have contributed is useful yet. I have clearly spelt out a legal position several times on here and backed it up with actual facts, and all you can do is whine that you don't like the conclusion.

    Learn to read....

Righto. Could you guys please leave your D swinging rubbish off this thread? There's actually some useful info here but anyone coming to read it for the first time would struggle to find it.

I've got what I wanted out of it. If you'd like to continue discussing how many inches each of your respective barrels are I'd recommend you do it privately or start a new thread.

Tend to agree with @Edunn. The thread has gone somewhat off-track with two individuals carrying on a personal argument unrelated to original post. Seems to happen quite often on this site.

Yep well Sidney the link that you posted up did not work, so there was nothing there to read.

    Fair enough guys.

I can understand the points that Sydney is making quite clearly. To add my own, the intention of the law is to achieve a fair and reasonable outcome for all parties not to punish one party for the negligence or ineptitude of another in which they have no direct responsibility - which would be the case with the use of a farm track as long as it was safe to use and not represented as such when it was know there was a dangerous hazard etc. I remember the Berryman case well. In that instance the beekeeper used the bridge regularly, the farm was a workplace. The Berrymans had not provided the materials specified by the army engineers but had misrepresented other materials as those specified. As well they had not 'maintained' the bridge as required. I think that they got away lightly
I am not qualified in law but have studied some law / case law in regards to commercial contracts

    Gidday there fellas.

Just got back out from our first period roar up the Elliot stream block.

Thanks for all the advice about the track. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather the whole time and the track was no drama at all.

Unfortunately we only saw three deer in the whole block over 6 days hunting
We covered a lot of ground and we're not able to get onto any good numbers. Two of the three were stags. One was average, one too far away to tell, and the third a spiker.

Hordes of goats in there and a few pigs seen too but pretty disappointing on the deer front. Great week away nonetheless.

Still looks hot and dry, except for Lake McRae.
    Any Chamois?

It was hot and dry, indeed. Had two frosts but also had 25 degrees each day. Ground was bone dry.

Didn't see any chamois but admittedly we didn't look very hard for them as we were looking so goddam hard for deer. Great country for them though, I'm sure they'd be around.
