Used S&B 138gn in my old Mauser and now use the same un a new Tikka. It’s killed everything I have managed to hit.

@Inky try outdoor adventure sports in ashburton next time you go past its the green building towards north end of town between main street and railway tracks...by the fly over... they always have great range of stuff and prices are very good.

All the deer I have shot with this bullet have been inside 400m

Not saying they wouldn't kill humanly out further but the range I frequent only has gongs out to 400m so I only have validated data that I trust out to this distance.

If the deer are further out then I just sneek closer
