I kept waiting for the *bang flop*

Identify your target beyond all doubt because you never miss (right?) and I'll be missed.

    Around 6 feet I reckon.
What I found interesting, was that I wasn’t wearing any fancy Camo clothing. Just a dark green jacket and pants.
Really put it into perspective, get the wind right and sit the fk still works just as well.

So glad I put the gun down and took my phone out of my pocket.

Nice work, very very few people would have been within 6 feet of a wild deer, especially in such a relaxed state.

Yeh dead still is the key.
I was sitting in the open, back against a rock within 80m at the closest, of half a dozen hinds out in the tussock, just before the roar. Sat tight for about an hour before the cold got to me, and I decided to try and sneak into the sun. I tried inching very slowly in a sitting position. I didn’t want to disturb them, as we’d seen a good stag there the previous evening. It wasn’t long before one picked me up and they were off. Fortunately no barking..

Simply amazing footage mate... heart thumping just watching it (also waiting for the bang, was pretty stoked it never came)

Favourite bit was when it kept peering back thru the gap in the trunks... almost like it was trying to catch you out, made me chuckle.

Yes great footage. The 4.40 mark also made me laugh playing peekaboo around tree.

Great footage alright, you don't need to shoot them all as those memories are just as good as a dead deer.
