    Hmmm, not that quick then.

    It has been my observation over the years that 30cal projectiles in a number of styles are more frangible than their equivalent's in say 7-6.5mm
    "Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.

    308Win One chambering to rule them all.

    My 338 rum was driving the 225 accubonds at 3100-3200
    Bloody devastating dinner plate sized holes sometimes.....but sometimes not so flash.

    That's the problem with a Tikka, limited by the mag.
    My AR30 300wm spits them out a lot quicker due to longer mag length. ie seat a little longer which allows more powder.

    The 300wm in the photo is my Tikka T3 with Bell & Carson stock and AI bottom metal with 10 round mags. I use my standard loaded rounds that fit the Tikka mag simply because I had a couple hundy preloaded. When I burn thru them I'll get some loaded up a little longer, there's still room in the AI mags.

    Im trying to come up with a load for my .270 using 140s. What powder are you using if you don't mind me asking?

    Im using 2209 with really good results. Think Shearer gave me the tip to do so?

    I was using N560. 60gns. Also used AR2213sc for quite a while. That was fine too.
    Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
