we used then for awaile but the local quarry was on same radios and it was pain in arse..cellphone coverage is great where we normally hunt so radios are redundant.
I use the unidens and they have heaps of channels so no prob plus we put them on scramble so no one can listen in (bloody good).
3rd last deer I shot I would not have got without them, I ranged the deer at 180 meters and told my mate to sit tight then I started walking, he guided me in the direction then I used my range finder back to him until I was at 180 meters and presto there it was.

No way I would have got it otherwise.

Hunt safe, look after the bush & plug more pests. The greatest invention in the history of man is beer.

For a hunting trip with a group, having reliable radios can make a big difference. A while back, we went on a similar trip with four people and split into pairs on either side of a valley. We used some budget-friendly radios that worked pretty well for keeping in touch across the distance.

Look for radios with a decent range and good battery life, as these will help maintain contact even in tricky conditions. The radios we used weren’t high-end but did the job without breaking the bank. Make sure they’re easy to use and durable enough to handle the outdoors. It’s all about staying connected and making your hunt more enjoyable without spending a fortune.

Does your woofwoof have a button or a knob?
I know a lot but it seems less every day...

Due to the exorbitant cost of reloading components, warning shots will not be given.
