Ok, so we got out for a shoot. Was looking good after we saw 3 goats within 100m of arriving. We decided to leave them as they were and go and have a look for a deer first, as 2 hinds were seen there the day before. We cruised around for a bit when we decided to just pop off whatever we saw due to it being really quiet. The Welsh couple popped a few possums each, but we decided to head home as it was starting to rain a bit, and not a lot was happening. Just as we were about out, the 3 goats were still there, so out came the .243 for the Welshman, and the .22 for me. He dropped a nice nanny, and I put down another nanny and a kid.

Was fun, but were really disappointed how quiet it was considering how much animals were meant to be in there. But still, better than sitting at home.

Damn right - you've gotta be out there to have a shit night or a good night rather than vegetating in front of the telly

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
