    I read the mag to.
Bit ambivalent about it it was about the climber.
But then you begin to wonder if anti hunter.
Yet most trampers I have met are ok with hunters.

Hey Greg, can you tell me what happened last night with those two good solid shots that missed.
Did a screw come loose or was something damaged in a fall.
I felt gutted for the lady in question as what a mission to be foiled by a gear failure or damage.
    Love your show!

Great show last night, you guys must eat a lot of tahr meat with all that climbing for days on end.Bad luck with the SCOPE missing the deer, the young lady followed those shots thru like a pro shooter.

    Your assuming it's the scope.
Could be one of many things as have seen a few rifles that have come to me for point if impact shifts.

Before they even shot the rifle I looked at those pretty and shiny mounts and thought to myself 'I am surprised Greg agreed to those single screw mounts'

Someone - and no one has owned up to it - had dropped the rifle bad enough to actually bend the scope tube just in front of the front ring - as I found out when I got the rifle home! It wasn't a gear malfunction as such, just bad treatment! As you say, Hannah pulled off 2 great shots, following through like a pro. Both her shots went in exactly the same place - low and left, and when I tested the rifle on a rock at the same distance straight afterwards, that's exactly where it hit. The rifle had just been on the trip with Luke where he shot the 12 pointer and carried it out in the latest issue of the mag, then straight in to our trip, where Scotty carried it on his pack for 6 days before the shots. The rifle also fell sideways on the bipod when I was setting it up just before Hannah fired her 1st shot, but that certainly wasn't enough to bend the tube.
So really bad luck for Hannah, and we seriously owe her a good wild country stag in the follow up episode we'll film this year!

Thanks for the update Greg. Just goes to show this sort of thing can happen to anybody, that's hunting. A bit like the stag you missed a couple of years ago in my neck of the woods, you then took the opportunity then to walk out a bit and re-sight, but no chance for Hannah on that trip.
