Seems like the hunting and fishing fraternity are having quite an impact on the signature count!

Misguided? Yep, radical? Hardly. They are hardly the first group on either side of the animal cruelty debate to embalish details. They do work to some valid goals, such as banning life crating of pigs and better minimum standards across our meat industry.
Sure they push the envelope to far, but thats how these things work, gotta have some nutter pushing the limit to 150% to make 10% difference. Having a charity status is niether here nor there

Good judgement is the key to safe use of firearms.

Why? I have just as much dislike for these clowns but a petition will do 5/8ths of fuck all if they are a legitimate charity. I didn't read the full story but can hardly see grounds to deregister them if they comply with the requirement in the first place. Tell me I'm wrong (please) but from where I'm looking it's just pissing in the wind.

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
