Thread: Anyone in Aus want to save my sanity?

Hey guys I'm currently on a job over the ditch in Toowoomba, Queensland and am going a bit nuts not having hunting on my door step like home. Anyone over this way getting out before Christmas keen to have a young fulla come hang. Obviously have no firearms with me but hell even just getting out to see some Aussie critters woud be good.

Fibbers is no more it's all Fitzies now. Was in there the first couple nights I got here. Wasn't much around in terms of a hunting type crowd. It's actually quite posh. Well compared to the others I've been into.

I'm a bit far away Albury is a long drive for a hunt

Cam chuck a post up on the Tahr and Chamois Hunting Facebook page, theres more aussies on there than kiwis, the least they could do is take you out for a hunt since they get to enter out ballots and hunt our chamois as if they were citizens...

Coming from NZ definitely not desperate enough to pay to hunt. Im only here a short while (til Christmas) so can wait. Have found a bloke that goes for pigs but hes not sure if he will get out before I leave.

If you have access to a vehicle, you could head down to Sundown National Park for a look around. Pretty much directly south of you. Plenty of fallow, goats and pigs in there.

I found some alternative hunting for this weekend and am off on a spearfishing mission. That might be a good one as I brought my camera over so a stalk with the lens could be good

Sounds good. Death by shark attack this weekend or snake bite next weekend in Sundown NP.

Dont forget the spiders, jellyfish, octopi, and all the other assorted potential hazards such as fires, boredom, and the inhabitants. They should have one of those health and safety warning signs at the border. Stralia seems hellbent on killing you.
