    Anyone hunted DOC Blue pools / Cameron flat area ?

    Just wondering if any of the local or non local hunters have had a walk / hunt in the bush area around blue pools ( makarora ) to say Cameron flat.
    Bush looks dense but wondered if it holds any animals. I see a track going way back off Cameron flat .
    Any actual experience in the area would be great , just looking at park and day hunt type situation .

    Some nice looking areas, plenty of cover and food.
