Thread: Anyone hunting the Kaimai's (Thompson's Track)

Or Tuahu Track, Killarney Lake's area and want somewhat secure parking or even a campsite PM me. Thompson's Track is a bloody shambles for the first 600 metres but I have an access track that goes beyond that that will allow quads and sxs's to miss the major mud hole....limited to 1.8 metres wide at the moment. There are spaces to park a caravan or bring a tent or a tarpaulin, there are a couple of long drops available or dig your own hole...plenty of rocks to build campfire, plenty of firewood, just needs cutting...water available...good reception for wifi/cellphones/TV....and I drink Cody's, make sure you bring some.
