Thread: Anyone willing to give a guided hunt in the Ruahine?

    I spent quiet a few years learning how to hunt from books etc. it was not until someone took me by the hand did any of what I had self taught actually fall into place and I was able to understand what I had been reading. That first real hunt didn't put a meal on the table but did set me up for success and enjoyable hunting there after.

    A hunting mentor is a valuable thing. Even for folk with experience. I'd be keen to tag along to pick up the kiwi bush skills I've still to learn. Hunting is much more rewarding as a team activity.
