Thread: Boar Hunting Dunedin

Hi, I'm living in Dunedin and I have a little Teckel I want to train on boar. Can I go out with anyone? Her parents used to hunt them in Germany on the driven shoots they have there. Wanting to get her out with other dogs so she gets the hang of it.

Or if anyone has a trained boar in a pen let me know.

Bill Westwood here in Geraldine has trained pigs.... and trains dogs .

but look up local pighunting club,there will be one nearby.

I had to google that one , Teckel had me scratching my head lol ...Dachshund !honestly i had never considered or heard of them as hunting dogs until this very moment , according to google they work , Get a hold of the Taieri pig hunters club they mite be able to hook you up , plenty of hunting opportunity's around dunedin or withen an hours drive , good luck.
