I've worn Lowa Tibet GTX for years, probably just bought my 9th or 10th pair and I cant fault them. My size has never changed so I know what size I need, wear them for everything, bush, easy, mountain, and also in BC - they have never let me down. Bought them from myhuntingshop.com, $337 landed to my door - half the H&F price!
Hi i have found that the evolve razorback boots are awsome boots for the price u pay they are comfy as like walking on pillows and long lasting i have had mine for around 2 years and have put them through everything mustering hunting through bush, pine, chasing dogs into gorges working in the yards and they are still going strong if u get them on sale at hunting and fishing they are 100 bucks they are a steal for the quality you get
Dont buy grisport had a pair of kaikouras done a possum monitor on steep rock sidling hills and the leather stretched so foot was half off sole crap boots i have lowa hunter gtx and hanwags both exelent bootsother monitors had good runa with scarpa and andrews andrews
Cheers Bumble. Was going to buy some grisports but will look more into the Lowas now.
Mines another vote for stay away from grisport. I've had a pair of pro hunters for less than a year and the side has already blown out.

If you do go for the Lowas, I would ask about the leather conditioner before using it. I have some Meindls and using anything but their own conditioner invalidates their warranty.
Lowas, Meindl, and I think Haix are all made by the same family - three brothers with their own brand names.
A mate had the stitching come undone on a pair of Lowas and they quibbled about repairing under warranty - said what he was using them for wasn't what they were designed for.
Recently got a pair of Hanwag alaska gtx, went for a multi day cham trip first time wearing them and they really preformed, awesome for sidling. Highly rate them for alpine/allrounder
Thanks Quest, it is the Hanwags not Haix that come from the same family. Hanwag = Hans Wagner
well i cannot blow out and buy some of the top end unfortunately.
Will get some of the z-6 gtx or the renegades. Will make sure i use LOWA branded products on them to avoid issues.
Cheers for the info guys!
