I just used to cut out some inner soles from that rubber 'waffly' stuff sold as carpet underlay.
Hunted all seasons with them. Never had cold feet. Thought the Ashley boots were the greatest!
Thick socks are good too (as mentioned), but do consider the use of an inner sole as well.

    Burn them
    sneeze and BRADS like this.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

I wear them year round, even when Tahr hunting etc...they are a bit hot in summer & a little cold in winter, but I still love them. I can have whatever boots I want at no cost to me and I still choose Ashleys.

Two pairs of socks in the snow should do the trick.

I like them for surf casting too.

Get an old pair of ya jandals, grind them down thinner, trim to fit inside and boom! Super warm, custom molded insoles. Picked this up from an old post in the 'other' forum, works a treat.
