    Yea the poor dog must get hammered , the hole hillside has got them but are thicker on the fringes . I honestly think me and my dog are the only silly pricks to hunt it , normally see Deer or deer sign at the least .

    You will find deer with the thar this time of year. Generally a bit later in the month. I have shot them at 6000amsl in the helicopter amongst rocks with no tucker for miles.

    Maps are ok but don't show difference between spear grass and native . South Island road trip ! I'm sure we could accommodate you . Plenty of better hunters down here to choose from than me just quietly . Still be glade to take you out

    Ha ha true about the maps, will be a long time in the planning but pretty determined to do a si hunt trip. Sick of looking at all that prime country from a plane
