    223 is perfect for them otherwise the boys are hitting them with big calibers at big ranges

    .22mag works just fine n dandy...just like anything else including a .50BMG you still have to place your shots. range under 100 yards the magnum works fine.

    I need to get a bigger canon and put wallaby shooting on my bucket list. Still quite amazed they have now got south of the lindis. Cheers guys.

    Only for head and necks for me.

    I shot one bang through the shoulder. Hit the heart. Mushroomed good and recovered from the other side of the opposing shoulder. Still ran a good way before I popped into it a few more pills.

    Yes but deer will do this 2 if u heart shoot them even with big calibers

    True. Maybe I'm just used to the 223 feeling like a proper sized round. Even then they used to take a bit to fall over.

    The DOC theory is that they may have had some assistance. No big numbers yet but they have shot a few.

    Why on earth would anyone drop them off over the river.

    I have never heard of them being that popular to eat or as a trophy.

    I hope not, but it certainly explains it. I hope they dont take hold in Central, land owners have enough trouble with rabbits, they dont need those things as well.
