    Deer numbers are not high cos it gets a lot of pressure. But there are deer there if you put in the hard yards. Post roar I have found more stags in the West Harper area rather than the Avoca.

    Hi was looking in going up in the next few weeks. Did you end up going? What were the numbers like for chamois and deer and where abouts were they? Any info would be appreciated. Cheers

    Nah didn't go in the end. Keen to hear how you get on though. Went up the Cass River in Arthurs instead. Plenty of chammy sign on the tops but didn't see too many. Few deer on the Hamilton Hut side of the saddle too
