    hey there Nimrod, are you in the know who the consortium are and if they allow outsiders access? and how are they getting into the blocks?

    Sorry bud, I only know what Chris has told me.
    But I shouldn't imagine a syndicate of private hunters shelling out tens of thousands of $ for a private hunting block would welcome strangers in ...... but I've been wrong before.

    Just out of interest what size is that fly, make, material type etc ..

    Just a bog standard "Rab Siltarp 2"...... weighs about 480g or 540g with all the braid cord tie offs on it...... Check it out on their website. 2.4mx3.00m ( 8'x10" )

    The coating on my Forbes was showing quite a bit of wear so sanded it back and repainted in what looks a similar colour to your Kimber
    Still have another Forbes 7mm/08 that my son hunts with and I have a Kimber Hunter which has grown on me and is shooting well
