    I will agree with you on one point. I don't consider an animal you have paid for to be a trophy worth bragging about. However if someone else does I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to spend their money on it.
    Agree mate, my 'ethical' stance was to do with 'Who' actually killed the lion, not the actual hunt, price ect.....i could not stand/squat behind an animal i had not killed grinning like the Cheshire cat with my bow....

    But that all got lost in translation & emotion......some of it by me....

    Is an animal of a breed which numbers in thousands a member of an endangered species...the Maui dolphin is certainly an endangered species, but the lion is not...and nowhere have I read any meaningful essays by anti hunters scornful of the thousands of animals poached throughout the world by the country's own people for pecuniary gain...
