    Had a crack at Buffalo back in 1999 with a Sako Finnbear 270 -140gr barnes X it was a very good Buff load. They are a very tough animal to take-down because not every shot present's as head shot and they carry for a long way if they are not hit correctly. The local had a 416 taylor and was more than ample as we were shooting for meat. Worth doing and very challenging.( I see if I can scan a photo or two)

    Kinda neat piece of history there, he sure shot his fair share of buffs, literally truck loads!

    That trailer winch has got some grunt to it
    Used as target practice by fighter pilots during WW2 and still had projectiles in them

    Were you part of that operation? Yeah I agree on the power in that winch, wouldn't want to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
