Have both the twin needle and ruffwear packs. Ruffwear seems to sit a bit better on my dogs and doesnt flop around so much, but the twin needle is handy being able to use different size puches depending on what they carry

Really happy with the Real Dog Back Pack. https://www.realdog.co.nz/shop/dog-backpacks Two well constructed pockets with heavy duty zips. I use it on tops trips, or to the close local spot, and never beyond 10% of the dog's body weight. They say up to 30%, but seriously, the main advantage of these packs is you can put the bulky puffer jackets and zip locked dog food bags in. I was concerned when I was at 12% the other day, until the pup blasted off no cares in the world after pheasants on an Oamaru walk in. You need to make sure you balance the load evenly, so I weigh items and take care packing. The other thing I've done since this photo is bought two fluffy wool seatbelt straps (with velcro) from Super Cheap Auto, and covered the nylon straps, stops chaffing on those long climbs.
