    Douglas Score Fallow Assistance

    I shot this in April.
Only took about 10 years to finally fallow hunting in the rut. Lol

Its no trophy but I'd like to do a DIY Douglas score.

Is there a sheet you can down load?
Are there some instructions you can down load?

    Would be appreciated.

Think the NZDA have a Douglas Scoring thingy on their website. There is also a booklet published that has the Douglas Scoring for all NZ Species in it. @Mathias may be able to help

Yes, you really need the book. Very hard to explain in words alone.

I'm picking will score very low as Douglas uses the lesser of two opposite points/times measurement doubled. If you can get a score sheet and head scored, can work it out and measure another head same way.

So your first time looks about 2", the second might go 5" the third..out the rear maybe 3" then the next two will go off far antler..neither more than 2". Leaving length n width to make up the total . If my understanding of how scoring is done is correct. The big difference with sci score is ( just like the bar girl said) every inch counts!!! So a one antlered stag still has a score with sci. With ds it's a zero.

Yeh, I know it's no trophy. Just curious.
    180, TBH I thought a lot less.

I could do some measuring and add them up but I know it isn't that simple.
