    You mite be right there mate, i've seen plenty of hinds with fawns in the Ruahines but also a few hinds that i thought should have a fawn but didn't seem too. Maybe they were just well grown younger animals.

    We shot what I thought were 2 yearling's the other day but turned out to be a small hind and its BIG offspring, both in good nick, I’m guessing the hind was a yearling last year when it got knocked up early in the roar.

    Do you think it could be that because they are on the cockies grass they are bigger then normal?
