No reds over the back fence (although I think that there are one or two escapees further up South head.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

I mean do you get Fallow bucks taking interest in either the hinds across the fence or the roaring stags, or do they steer clear?

You could get in touch with Danny at Go Bush adventures, he mainly only lets bowhunters in but is now letting the odd rifle hunter in, I doubt you'll get in for the roar as the family usually are in there hunting it...
Very easy to get around and you don't have to go far for a deer or two, lots of old logging tracks and skid sites on the property, might be a go for after the roar, but you'd need to book in quickly, not sure what he charges for rifle hunters but for around $350 will get you a weekend in there and a deer.

Yep just done that today - went there last year - with a walking stick - was lucky with the block, one that you could sit and watch - say a bunch including a really good buck (and his 2 mates) - pity where so far away

Last time I was in the Woodhill ,I'd sat down to boil my billy by the top road , 5 deer came walking down the road towards me & stopped bout a 100m away broad side. Love it when shit like that happens just makes it so easy to get a feed.
