Thread: Freezer rental near Canterbury?

I’m planning a trip to South Island and rather not rent a place to stay for the entire duration of the trip (2-3weeks) since I’ll be spending most of the time in the mountains. The problem is if I kill something I won’t have a place to keep the meat. Is there a place where I can rent a freezer space to store the meat? Thanks.

A Canterbury butcher shop might help you out,Methven n Darfeild.But game would have to be dressed and skinned before taking into their shops.

my uncle used to rent freezer space at the Timaru wharf , walk in individual freezers for a very nominal amount .
