gotta love them uni holidays, went for a trip to my usual spot for goats only to find them culled. Was bit of a bummer

Almost 100% certain this is possum sign.
Was in the same area this morning and one of the many fronds that were chewed had clear teeth marks where they had been scooping out the soft centre. Unless we have deer with mouths the size of possums it was possums
