Here we go then, I tell myself I have all I need now but I tell myself the same all the time, there's always new stuff to try! But pretty happy with my general kit, just add food.

2x longjohns, one for hunting, one for sleeping

    1x Merino top

    2x microfleece t shirts

2x spare socks, again one for hunting, one for sleeping

    Down Jacket

    Beanie

1x spare underwear (don't wear them if I'm wearing longjohns)

Jacket, I take one or the other but lean towards the Swazi Tahr, other is a Kuiu Chugach NX, packs really small and is 100% watertight but I can't tear myself away from the tahr, keeps ya bum warm and dry, and provides warmth and watertight at the same time.

I pack all my clothes into the orange dry bag and I'm usually wearing some rugby shorts and a merino top to start with.

Dorkus has never been on a week long fly in trip with me before lol

The best thing for me is I'm a skinny light little prick ( so can take more shit in my half of the load ) & I'm not taking a Mutt, so I will be taking heaps of shit as normal.

I've been working full noise trying to get jobs finished before we go, so haven't even started prepping but a few things ( that people often forget ) are

Floss - noting worse than having shit stuck in ya teeth
Nail clippers / file - nothing worse than fuking a nail & it catching on everything
Small tent light - great for reading or just as "mood" lighting
A decent book, a stick mag & a note book ( for writing in & drawing C&B's ) when stuck in ya tent for days on end
Always take two headlamps with plenty of spare batterys
Plenty of tape & rope ( meters of the shit ) and some zip ties
    A basic gun kit ( including a rod )
    Multi tool

I'll post up a list of my shit one day, when I get time

If I'm flying in I take my Coleman Peak 1 Apex stove though it's bloody awesome way better than any of the modern multifuel stoves you can turn it right down to a simmer no worries and will run on coleman fuel, kerosene, meths, petrol no worries and will even run on diesel if you preheat the little brass block where the fuel flow valve is before lighting it. They are unavailable new now but after getting my first one off trademe a few years ago I needed a part and managed to track down some bloke in the UK that deals in old stoves (eccentric fella!) And he had the part for me and a whole brand new stove and bottle etc still in the box since 1994 so I bought that off him too!

I would hazard a guess at them all being much the same quality wise. They're pretty cheap on trademe so don't know if the aliexpress wait would really be worth the savings
