Have the good old compass in your bum bag but get a good gps and learn to trust it,, they are soo good now.

Still get compass turns in a 135 Regs check.
They are worse than constant rate turns.

True you still have to know how to use one, forgot about that,,,, only time i ever have to though

I think the so called Garmin maps are memory map specially packaged for Garmin. Mr purples maps are every bit as good as any out there in my opinion. main dif is price.
