Thread: Guidance on Lake Kaniere Hunting

Hi Guys

I'm hoping to take the family for a trip over to the coast for a few days and was hoping to get in a morning stalk somewhere in the lake Kaniere area. Not looking for spots just some guidance as to where to start, how to hunt it and a rough idea as to the terrain expected. Thanks in advance.

The whole area has been hammerd with 1080 mate. Few animals here and there. You would be lucky too see a possum around the whole lake. One of my good mates owns land around the lake and has had bugger all around his place for years.

Have a poke around geologists creek (everybody from hoki's secret spot .....) or up the bottom of the styx on the true right.You can cut up into the bush from a shitty little creek up the track.

cheers guys sounds shit. I'm thinking peel forest area might be a better bet.
