Ah, so these are the sorts of hunters that I hear shooting ten+ shots within the span of a few minutes in DOC land. Shooting at rocks and trees for fun? Partly why i feel more inclined to hunt restricted areas now, though doesn't completely negate the risks.

There are plenty of cockheads with firearms licences, no wonder the Police dealing with them want to have a sort out and change firearms law.
Acting responsibly means bringing this crap to Police attention.

On Saturday two mates and I were parked on the roadside after just coming off the hill in Lees Valley. A dark VX cruiser goes roaring past ripping up the gravel and road showering us. By the look of the vehicle and the location, most likely firearms owners - not what I consider fit and proper behaviour.

Well its quite possible his age has only just recently surpassed his IQ points judging by his behavior.

Had the same thing happen at Clements a month ago took girlfriend and step son down for a hunt. And an hour after daylight a holes start shooting up Clements Clearing. Nice night camping in bush ruined by dick heads

man that shit was hard to get through!!! I didn,t give them 5 mins!! skipped through as I wouldn,t want to bump the viewer rate up by watching the whole thing! Wow, not even 3 minutes into it and the criminal behaviour begins with the driver drinking a can of beer. That's gotta be cause to revoke a FAL right there if the "fit & proper" test is being applied with renewed vigor.

Not only is the video poster clearly an idiot, he's too arrogant to take good advice, which fits with the behaviour seen in the video.

I will be absolutely livered if the authorities fail to identify and prosecute these individuals. It would add salt to an already sore wound (the gun law reform), and further reinforce the loss of credibility the authorities have with the law abiding shooting community.

@hotbarrels I wouldn't put the life savings on it. I don't think the cops raided the gang leader who admitted on tv that he wasn't handing any of his guns in because he needed them for "self defense"....
