Shame really, they just keep closing the doors, no new ones open up. One day it's going to be impossible to pick a rifle up before you buy it online.

Yeah retail around the country is down. Doesn't seem to matter what you sell.

Think about your last 10 non grocery purchases .... people buy online !!!

for me, its no only a question of price - its also convenience - my last purchase was 1kg of grass seed - and I bought it online in 5 minutes .. it took me another 5 minutes to walk down to the mail room to pick it up when it got delivered . Thats 10 minutes in total. Buying the same thing from M10Mega would have been a half hour at least round trip in the car, plus all the faffing around finding the product, paying for it.

Despite the fact that I enjoy a cruise around the aisles , I cant wait for the day when you can get your groceries online.

Time is a luxury I seldom have much of.

That's because you spend way to much time loading bullets slowly for no real world gain mate.

I do this all the time. Your not tempted to buy other shit only the necessities. You save money and time by just going to grocery store and picking up your packaged food.

we (my mrs) does that as we have a 15 month old and the thought of dragging him around the supermarket to do the shopping for our family of six isn't a great one for her so she orders it in the morning and collects in afternoon.
Websites or even listing on trademe is very important advertising. My last firearms purchase was a Vortex dimondback scope. I got it from Hamills tuaranga because a mate used to live there and knows the owner. It was lucky he mentioned them as they didn't have the vortex on their website, they do have other brands like nikon etc and i wanted a Vortex. If there wasn't a connection with a mate i would have bought it somewhere else not knowing they had them at all.
Personally i buy most things off the net as i live 30 mins drive from town and work from home so i do my research online, buy online and have it posted generally. If i'm after something and i can't search it on someone's website or they haven't listed it on trademe they have no chance of taking my money.

If i could have a full time job shooting pests i'm up for over time.
