Taranaki for wild Bull, but you will probably need to pay for that. anywhere central North Island is good for goats on public land, contact DOC in central North Island and they will put you onto good spots

Mount Mantell ( Murchison ) in the South is the place for goats, its fair teaming with the buggers.

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Yeah have to agree with oneshot about the central north island for goats. Must have seen 70 odd over three days whilst I was hunting there recently

I have hunted the Vic high country a fair bit, and all I can say is you don't know what big hills are

If you are doing any south island 'hill' country, You will see what I mean

As for wild bulls, there's a lot of them on the east coast around mount Hikurangi. You'd be a brave man to go into that sort of dense bush to try and arrow one though, it would be an up close and personal affair

There's the odd goat around central otago/ Queenstown. Got around 50 or something for three hours, but they were rifle only.
For red stags with a arrow I'd pick fiordland, average shot length 1 to 60 yards. BUT a lot of people can't handle the bush there as in areas (most of it) it's fucking thick.
