    Cool Helicopter Drop Recommendation

    Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a Helicopter drop off around the Sinclair- Havelock area?

I have spoke with a few outfits farther south. Would be a pretty long haul for them. I was hoping to find someone a bit closer.

Any help would be appreciated! 👍🏻

........and another recommendation for Prout's, excellent pilot, real good bastard, and knows hunting. Malcolm Prouting at Station Air is who you are after, 03 6963738 from memory.

From the hangar to Stone Hut is about 12 minutes, 24 return. Double that for in and out is 48minutes. Depending on model, a 500 is $2000-2500 per hour so sounds like you were quoted the going rate for a helicopter drop off and pick up.
