    Didn't think about giving him a little push/tripping him up and then hopping out for a finish off? I wouldn't have been thinking that at all in that situation, honest.

    (Honestly officer, I did my best to stop but once he was hit it seemed a shame to waste it!).

    I was tempted to, but the ute has only just got repaired after I hit a pig earlier this year on SH1 one night, so was scared that if I did any damage they'd start asking questions

    That happened out the Kenepuru Sound a couple years back, big boy out wandering the road and someone with a dunger Hilux with a bull bar ran him down.
    Was a bit of a shit show as many people were up in arms about bloody poachers shooting the road until it came out a gun wasn't involved

    I've near hit a couple now that just popped off a bank and down onto the road right in front of me. Never in something with steel on the front unfortunately so it's likely it would be just as much damage either way!
