    Started in the UK with a 22 air rifle, dad was in the paras, was going to follow him big time after he let me have a go with his FN FAL, then 'the troubles' kicked off in N Ireland, dad gave me the big 'no way, son' speech
    although pissed off, i thank him every day in my own way....spend some time in the US, glock 9mm, AR 15....heaven, now im in godzone i have my FAL and im finally living out some long held dreams & ambitions!!!!

    55 and counting, bring on 'the roar'.......knees willing.....

    Ever hunted roe deer in Europe at all? thats another one on my bucket list of things to hunt

    shot my first deer when I was 15 with my old mans 303 and I,m still hunting 45 years on

    Excellent that you are still out there doing it
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire

    Rule 5: Check your firing zone

    No jackp would love to try though, preoccupied with all the NZ deer at the Mo...
