Knocked over my first sparrow with a kettie (sling shot) at around 6, since then most free time was spent running around the bush barefoot with some form of weapon be it a sling shot, homemade bow and arrow, slug gun or firearm.
Evenings were spent pouring over hunting and firearm magazines.
Only time I wasn't hunting was when I was fishing, then I went to uni and beer and women took my interest for a few years until about 24 and hunting came back to the fore!
"Here's the deal I'm the best there is. Plain and simple. I wake up in the morning and I piss excellence."
Started in the UK with a 22 air rifle, dad was in the paras, was going to follow him big time after he let me have a go with his FN FAL, then 'the troubles' kicked off in N Ireland, dad gave me the big 'no way, son' speech

55 and counting, bring on 'the roar'.......knees willing.....
While I might not be as good as I once was, Im as good once as I ever was!
