So yeah - it can be an expensive game.
The reason I work is to enjoy the fruits of my labour and have fun in my hobbies.
If I want it and can afford it I'll buy it.
If I want if but can't afford it. ........... fuck it, that's what credit cards are for.

I don't buy hunting clothes,, it's all CRT type gear apart from shorts.
I cant afford one of those fancy rifles with a bolt, just have to settle for my single shot rifle. does the job though

Back in the day when I was paid piss poor bought the '42 'smelly' 303, bought the excellent swanny which is still going 44 years later...altho the feckn thing is getting smaller, (should take it back and complain eh.,)...that year 1971 traded the old scouting kapok sleeping bag for a good kiwi made one with hollofil the first off the rank...!!!! Jeez even I'm too old (good old 1946 vintage) but noone of my gear has let me down ever...

Most of my gear is second hand though haha, and only my boots/rain jacket and pack are recent purchases. Everything else can be up to 15+ years old!
And since I don't have a gun of my own I usually borrow and chip in for ammo
