Not 100% sure but it might be the stag in the top photo I shot on Sunday.

Out last weekend this roe buck shows a bit of promise

Promising young 14 Pointer spotted out in the open last week (30th March) middle of the day.

given another couple of years he could be rather spectacular animal,the shape of that head is very nice indeed.

Shot this big old 8 last Friday, was roaring a bit

Shot this one in a very high alpine tussock basin Wed, had 3 hinds with him and was a Mega stalk to get within 250yds for the shot

A great week away in the Alps with a good mate, landed in a foot of snow, had rain, wind, a couple of nice days, some good hunting, some big days on the hill and throughly enjoyed it.

Went for a quick pre-brecky scoot round some bush and tussock country yesterday morning at dawn. Was surprised to see seven deer in total, all stags. Walked up behind a feeding spiker at about 35 metres and then closed in to about 150 on two young stags - a 6 and a very promising wide 8.
An odd moan at dawn but no roars, stags that are not holding hinds all out feeding.
A mate has just come back from Lake Sumner and said same thing - no roars, stags feeding
