    Radios are great, provided that the party you are trying to reach don't keep turning the handset off to preserve battery life. Been there, done that.
    Gunshots, as with any sound, can be notoriously hard to hear in a lot of situations,, and I for one wont be relying on that method .

    That almost sounds lie a story there....but as most of us have made similar errors perhaps we should let it lie....I remember turning up at the range with a 10/22 without a magazine....dam those are a pain to single feed!!!!!
