If the 'lite' version is 8lbs bare then what does the heavy one weigh?

Yep, it is only 1:12, but that shld be enough for a 62 .. Even 69 ...

I've just found the federals to be innacurate.

In one case one of the federals wouldn't even chamber, although that was 243 ...

Owns bones but the Ase can and Elcan are quite heavy. It's hella light and handy without them

Will put up a pic of mine when I get home, I built (assembled it really) a few years ago so a bit of a bitsa, RRA lower and upper with custom barrel, match trigger etc. I originally built it for 3 gun but now gets used for everything

You pay a premium for a Good factory gun, you can build something good for cheaper, roughly comparable to the budget factory guns

I went for an NEA15 14.5inch version for just under $2k which is great value in my opinion.

Have dropped a nice fallow doe (first deer) and a few good roos (also first) so far with it shooting 50gr American eagle ammo.

Have some 60gr American whitetail to try next time out along with some handolads.

The rifle shoots well with an Aimpoint T1 micro, certainly no long range rig but anything within 200m can be harvested with ease.

Overall the most enjoyable $2k I've spent and if I were to start over I would go again with an NEA15. Hope thats useful to ya.
    JoshC and seano like this.
