    More so anti hunting agenda.
RSPCA peddle out the pictures of seals, kangaroos, cats, birds shot with field points. That paints all bow hunting as bad.
An anti hunting minister makes shifty election promises to the RSPCA groups, effectively pushes a “private members bill”, her powers are quite wide gains just enough support and bangs it through.

Same minister is in charge of the portfolio for the eradication of deer in the state and their most effective tool is shooting with shotgun from a helicopter.

There must be a lot of farmers needing a hand with pest control in AUS, but finding them will be the problem. As well as geting access granted from someone you don't know. My father-in-law is pushing 80 and still shoots 600 or so deer and pigs a year on his place, everything goes to waste he says it's all gone within a couple days. He's about 40km from Inverell NSW. I have not had the chance to go over and give him a hand on his new place yet, but he gets a lot of help from his other son-in-law and grandsons who are pretty keen to help out. He says there are so many ferals invading from state forest country that he will never get on top of the pest problem.

Yeah they had a big drought back 2 or 3 years and he had a crop in for his cattle, during that time he shot about 1000 animals just during the duration of the drought as the ferals had nothing else to eat. Frustrating to spand that much money on a crop then lose it to feral pigs and deer and then spend thousands on stock feed, he was getting desperate as the water almost ran out before the drought broke. Mid/late 70's and facing financial ruin would not be fun.

BTW I live in NZ. I wat a lot of Youtube videos and would love to be able shoot pigs and foxes.
    Crawling with foxes.
Just need a 22mag or 12g with #4 or preferably bigger.
A button whistle or Tenterfield whistle or some sort of reed caller.
Got this one few days ago with a "fox blaster: #2s at abt 4 yards. He was running flat out .

The thing with calling them is they
    Need to be within hearing.
    Need to be hungry

And the older ones are incredibly cunning. If they get shot at whilst call ing and it's a miss. I reckon they become near impossible to call in the future.
Night shooting is by far easier.
Hunt safe, look after the bush & plug more pests. The greatest invention in the history of man is beer.
