Roe deer @gundoc are very much like White tail in that they will tolerate human habitation. I’ve had Roe in my back garden here in the UK. Now the old bucks are another thing. As soon as the rut is over they are gone. Very hard to hunt and get a good one. I try to leave one old buck and an up and coming on my concession. This helps keep the damage to trees down. They are very destructive for such a small animal so the old one will move on any new comers.
