BUT makes no mention of exemption for Maori because they know that it would cause them grief to mention it, so they remain silent.. HOWEVER ACT have noted the exemptions for "Customary rights for fishing and food gathering" for Maori as supported by the Potty Police minister........

I was referring to the anomaly of guidance related to fishing for Maori vs non-Maori that was not in keeping with the legislation. That is now sorted.

Neither of those links have any relevance nor effect on this matter.

Maori have , as a result of a Section 70 order under the Health Act 1956, specifically Section 16f, exemption for "Limited customary purposes."

That potty Police Minister has been asked by an Act MP to define these Limited customary purposes", but was not able to so as she can't and hasn't, I still await your evidence blocking Maori from undertaking food gathering as part of their "Limited customary purposes."

Section 16e Limited recreation purposes puts recreation activities in exactly the same standing as 16f Limited customary purposes. The wording in sections 16e) and sections f) is identical, so what is the problem?

what the new "changes/clarification" has done is in effect REMOVE the need for a brown bum...for want of a better term.

I'll just leave this here. Applicable in a whole heap of applications.

It,s a cover up , so now that its been highlighted in the media & Act are cracking the whip the Govt have reworded there stance to save face however until the wording changes in the legislation to reflect this its nothing more than lip service .

I just shot a rabbit from the back porch, it turned out to just be on the neighbours side of the fence. Do I need to go and see my other neighbour one of the local cops and turn myself in since we are still in L4?

I would think you will be fine, as long as you had permission from your neighbour to be shooting his rabbit in the first place...
