    Yep would be useful. I set a reminder in my phone for the next expiry date when I renew it, otherwise I'd forget.

    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Just updated my permit again it had expired on the 12th of this month.Cold shitty wet day here.PT and two mates have gone bush trapping for three days. I'm heading out tomorrow or sunday. Look out Snee Road.

    A necessary evil I'm afraid... I always carry a permit ....one thing I would like to clear up....many of you call it DoC land.....
    It is not DoC land only DoC administered "Crown land".....

    The trick here is to ask for their documentation same as a fisheries officer. If they can't support their claim to being an official then it matters not whether you are permitted or not.... They are impersonating an official, and I'm pretty sure that this is an offence as well.....
