Thread: hunting in the snow?

Hunting in the snow can be very cold and wet. Suggestions, Keep out of the bush like Tahr says as great lumps of snow dropping from trees is not a fun experience, for some reason it always seems to land on the back of your neck.

Do not wear Bullers, cold, very cold feet, I have done one trip when there was a good dump of snow in the Urewera and my mate ended up with his feet up my jersey as his feet were freezing.

Try to keep your rifle warm as it has been known for the firing pin to freeze and with that there is no bang

sounds like good fun! last hunt i did i had a problem with my scope foging up (so that's what those covers are for that i left at home) :-)
