I heard that you can get noise cancelling ear plugs, obviously not electronic.
Apparently so good that can hear perfectly normal, but still blank out the shot going off with normal protection levels.

    Anyone know anymore info?

Any suggestions on the electric muffs. Brand/Model etc........ Going to get some asap. I'm already deaf in my left ear(born that way) so I need to protect what I still have.

Blackwoods always have a great range, usually top blokes to deal with too.
You know, if you need 100 rounds to kill a deer, maybe hunting isn't your sport.

Every time you pull the trigger without protection, a bit of your hearing is gone, it's a cumulative effect and permanent.

Telling yourself anything else is just living in denial, which depending on how often you shoot, may become a very quiet place in the coming years.

    yep!

Every single gunshot you experience without hearing protection fucks your hearing a little bit, and your inner ear cells never regenerate or heal. You might have temporary ringing or hearing loss after the shot but there is permanent damage going on as well. The thing is with hearing loss is that it is so gradual you don't even notice until you start being called a deaf cunt by your mates, ask any musician about that.

I don't know how guys shooting in a maimai hack it without muffs, having shotguns going off next to your head in bursts all day. I always wear muffs at the range and have a suppressor when hunting.
DPT cans weigh fark all, cut half your barrel off and it is almost no effect on weight or balance
