July Kaweka fly in trip, where to go?

If you 'HAD' to take a fly in trip in July anywhere in the Kawekas, where would you head?

I have only ever hunted the East Kaweka front country, am picking we wouldn't want to go too high at this time of year.

A hut with a fire i think is a given ;-) (and a bag of coal)

Thanks Daggers, sounds like Otutu is a it high for this time of year. We've now got a spot sorted after some good tips from the other pub.

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Anywhere if you head down hill and suss out the herding and feed areas.
We did ok from Venison Tops one year, and there's no where on the range as bitter as there.

It didn't get the name Kelvinator Lodge for no reason!

Fucken cold up top but it's a great vantage point to look down into low level gully heads and basins
