You wouldn't credit it. Three guys hit in the face by snowballs simultaneously. What are the odds on that happening?

My bro come thru Napier Taupo Rd today and said the snow that was pushed off the road is higher than hilux. Will take a bit of heat to melt in these conditions.

No worries, just heard about a group having to be flown out of mackintosh hut on Monday.

Not meaning to be offensive but given the forecast was terrible before the snow arrived why still go ahead with such a trip?

There are better ways to get into the local papers than an obituary

Was out for a walk in Germany after a snow dump. Lovely clear sky's and thought a walk in the woods through all that snow just the thing

NO not just the thing was two minutes into the trees when CRACK! Down comes half a tree!
    Thought oh wow!?
Took a couple of steeps and heard another crack and saw another big branch come down turn round very fast and got out of there quick smart. Went up a few days latter to where I wanted to walk to in that day. There was over two dozen big branches across the track. All would have done you in.
So by the looks of those pics I'd not be going anywhere near there untill a week after the last drop.
Bugger getting taken out by a tree. It's just what the greens would love to hear

@Sideshow when I was in Scandinavia it was icicles forming on the roof, 2-3 foot long and a couple of inches diameter. Make a bit of a hole in your head falling off a multi-storey building
