    Kawhia/raglan hunting

Hey guys! Just asking, has anyone hunted out raglan/kawhia way? Have seen there are heaps of small doc blocks out there. Are there many goats, pigs and fallow out there?
    Cheers(:

I use to do a lot of goat shooting in Te Kauri Scenic rserve on the way to Kawhia. It is difficult to move around with lots of bluffs, but once you had learnt it there were quite a few goats. Access can/might be difficult because of the lodge there.

I went a bit further to another block beside te kauri but didn't see much. We got 2 goats on a river flat and saw some pig rooting but other than that it was pretty minimal

Hey. Have a look at Pureora, its not too far from you. Some good hunting in there and really nice country to hunt.
